Every Day Prayer

Grant me wisdom Lord.

Make me a vessel.

Fill me with knowledge

and the wisdom to use it wisely.

Not for my benefit,

but so that I may share

and use it to comfort others

in their times of need.

If not permanent wisdom,

then wisdom of the moment

as each moment's need is

presented to me.

Keep me humble Lord

so that I may share any gift

I may receive in your name only.

Then, Lord, when my task is done,

allow me to return to peace

and serenity in my own

day to day journey.
